How a personal search became a mission of service
In 2019, Pavel Dmitriev, a serial entrepreneur, experienced his first sacred mushroom ceremony. What began as personal curiosity became a turning point. Over the following years, he studied under traditional shamans, explored the growing body of scientific research on psilocybin, and came to a conviction: those who seek this work deserve a standard that matches the seriousness of the experience itself.
In 2023, he formally established the Temple of Mycomysticism as a registered religious organization in the United States. The church’s mission is straightforward: to provide safe, legal, professionally supported psilocybin ceremonies on a donation basis. No fixed fees. No commercial motive. A service sustained by the generosity of those who have been through it.
Our approach combines two things that rarely exist together: deep respect for indigenous ceremonial traditions and modern standards of safety and professionalism. Every ceremony is led by indigenous shamans with decades of experience, and every participant is supported through each stage of the process.
Today, Mycomysticism serves a growing community: entrepreneurs, artists, families, public figures who come to us seeking clarity, healing, and transformation. We operate in the United States and internationally, with both group ceremonies and fully private programs designed for those who require discretion.
